Bembridge Station (Steam)

REF NR: 323

The station was demolished in the early '70s with a new residential development now standing on the site. Nothing remains. Bembridge Station consisted of a 220ft long platform on the down side of the single line. There was also a 120ft long siding to the down (west) of the station serving a coal wharf. On the upside of the platform road, there was a second siding serving a small goods yard which also served coal merchants and handled general freight.
