
The Camswan came to grief when she collided with the Polbria and sank in 1917 in Sandown Bay. Built by Blyth Shipbuilding & Drydock Co. Ltd. in 1917, this steam cargo transport vessel was owned by Osborne S. S. Co. It sits now at a depth of 18m in Sandown Bay, Isle of Wight. The wreckage is said to be spread over a large area of the sea bed.
