Binstead Methodist Church

REF NR: 50

The first Methodist church was built in 1866 by a member of the congregation and local builder named Mr Edwin James. Since then Methodists in the Binstead area have been meeting at the site. This building is now used as the church hall, with an extension at the rear of the church being used as a kitchen.

A new church was built adjacent to the original Methodist Church with a large vestry at the rear, which is used for church meetings. This building cost £900 in 1889.
