We are proud to announce that the Hire a Twizy company is coming to The Isle of Wight!! (www.hireatwizy.co.uk).

We have now won the sustainable communities funding to run the electric vehicle scheme.

Our main aim for this project is to establish and run a scheme that will provide visitors to the Isle of Wight with electric vehicles for hire. The project will provide opportunities for residents and visitors to access more sustainable forms of transport in and around the Island whilst supporting growth in the economy and a healthier natural environment this making the Isle of Wight a better and safer place.

Through the rebranding and the promotion of Hire a Twizy Isle of Wight, our intention is to inspire businesses, residents and visitors to build electric vehicles into everyday journeys helping to reduce dependency on potentially polluting single occupancy car trips and help ensure more sustainable and affordable alternatives for travel on The Island.

This exciting ‘new’ venture is going to be launched at Toms Eco Lodge on Tuesday 15th March; I would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss ways in which you can help us make this launch a successful one.
