In 1991 three of the cut down sleeper uprights that supported the platform were still in place in the undergrowth alongside the public footpath that now follows the track.

In 1878, the Medina Wharf was opened for cargo and coal unloading. Construction workers have their own private rest stop. No public schedule ever included it.In the early 1990s, three of the slashed sleeper uprights that formerly supported the platform could be found in the bushes next to the public footpath that now parallels the track.
