Distant View of St Catherines 1795

The print by C. Tomkins may be seen within his publication from the year 1795, titled “This Tour of the Isle of Wight Illustrated with Views.”

The presence of the boat in the front seems to suggest that it was incorporated at a later stage, as its style does not align with the rest of the composition. This observation is quite perplexing.
