The artwork titled “Cowes Harbour” by William Cooke, created around 1808, is included in the publication titled “A new picture of the Isle of Wight, illustrated with thirty-six plates of the most beautiful and interesting views throughout the island.” This inclusion features the hand-drawn original sketches as part of the 1808 edition. This initial handbook quickly gained popularity among visitors to the island.
