Ref Number: 0074
The old halt has been levelled, and hardly a trace is left behind. The old railway bed has been repurposed into a section of the Newport-Cowes cycleway. Cement Mills was a public stop that was used by a variety of reasons, including industrial employees, fisherman, and locals, despite the fact that it was never included in any public schedule.
After the cement mills stopped operating, the halt was officially put out of service; nevertheless, fishermen and ornithologists could still get trains to stop for them if they asked.
