Alverstone Station (Steam)

The station house has been preserved with just a few additions or deletions, but all other traces of the station have been removed. At Alverstone, the old wood platform was removed and rebuilt with one that was constructed out of soil and clinker and faced with timber. On the northern side of the station was a small goods yard that was serviced by a single line siding.
