Allied – Typhoon JP844

A Tangmere based Typhoon from 197 Squadron crashed at Garstons Farm, south-west of Newport on bonfire night 1943. Flown by Flt. Sgt. L.S. Clarke (RAFVR), who was injured during the crash.
