The Smuggling Chines

1. From Scratchells Bay, through Chale Compton, Shippards Grange Walpan all the way round to Freshwater Bay itself many a barrel of contriband would be smuggled in, often directly under the noses of the Exise Men.  All of these areas were deemed as safe beaches as it was so diffiucult to police them.
