Healthy Heritage Walks East Cowes Park

 1. East Cowes Park was created in 1842 from 160 acres of the Grange estate. The developer ran into difficulties and in 1869 was reported as to be sold by auction. In 1876 the roads in the park became public roards which is shown as the route of the walk.
