The length of the walk is approximately 4 miles and takes roughly 2 1/2 hours.

Its nearest car park is Brannon Way.

Bus routes to Wootton are: Ryde - Newport No. 9 or Ryde - East Cowes No. 4.

We recommend bringing your binoculars and a good bird book!

This walk is not recommended for the disabled.

The walk starts and finishes outside The Sloop Inn, Mill Square.

If you take the walk as a gentle stroll this walk is reasonably easy going and leads you mostly along footpaths and gravelled byways. You will want to wear sturdy shoes for the walk.
