The business was originally founded by Mr Richard Phillips at Wight Farm, Binstead, Isle of Wight, about 40 years ago. After the retirement of Mr Phillips, the business declined and ceased active trading. The current owners, Jeff and Carole Dove, bought the assets and goodwill in 1992 and re-opened at the original premises.
After only 12 months later, they had to change location to Cowes because they needed more spacious accommodation.
They specialise in filleting, scaling, skinning, trimming and smoking the fresh fish ready to order.
