Royal George Memorial Gardens (Earl Moutbatten)

This memorial was dedicated by Earl Mountbatten of Burma 31st August 1965, the gardens run between the mid part of the Strand and Esplanade and demonstrates a distance of some 200 yds due East that the bodies were buried, right up to the new dedication gardens at the end of the Strand
