Binstead Parsonage June 1829

The Print:

The Binstead Parsonage was owned by the Rev. Augustus Hewitt in 1816. It also became known as Binstead Cottage a few years later, after the original Binstead Cottage became a rectory. But is was destroyed by a fire in 1851, and Binstead House was built on the site.

The Brannons

George had four children, Alfred and Philip followed their father into the engraving business and were indeed very successful.  They produced not only engravings of the Island but of other local towns and cities including Southampton
