1. Blackburn Rippon, S1569, following forced landing. This is believed to be in Howgate Rd. Bembridge. The aircraft was recovered from this 'undignified' landing spot and was
later returned to Blackburn's works and converted to a Baffin in which form it served mainly in the Mediterranean area.
