Bonchurch Landslips is a 28.2 hectare Site of special scientific interest which is located north-east of Ventnor. The site was notified in 1977 for both its biological and geological features.
The Landlsip is a beautiful carved walk, made by errosion and landslides. These have made Bonchurch Landslip what is it today and is home to many creaks such as Devils Chimney which legend says that Smugglers used to use. Squeeze into the gap and follow it through the Chimney and head towards the coast. Due to the constantly changing enviroment, the walk is never the same.
Youtube user MrWilliestrokes uploaded a video of the Chimney, take a look!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8KH4gVmvgw
