Alexander's Restaurant & Take Away

Alexander's Fish & Chips are located in Ryde and offer an extensive and reasonably priced menu available to eat-in or take-away. Our range includes fish & chips, pies and burgers, snacks including sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes, children's meals plus hot or cold drinks and afternoon tea and sweets.

It is run by Bob and Faye who have owned fish & chip shops on the mainland since 1984 before arriving on the Isle of Wight in January 2008. We are located in John Street at the top of Ryde Hill, just a few moments from the breathtaking views across the Solent.We pride ourselves on cooking all fish freshly, either battered or steamed, and use home grown potatoes from the IOW and locally caught skate


We also offer weekend specials on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays such as skate wings (locally caught) and tuna and salmon steaks and more. Cater for young and old and alike we welcome our local residents as well as visitors to the Isle of Wight.
