The beautifully restored Windmill Inn is perfectly placed in the famous Isle of Wight village of Bembridge for you to explore and enjoy the East Wight. Bembridge village is on the Isle of Wight's most easterly point, sprawling from a wooded harbour to the downs. A five mile coastal walk from Bembridge to Sandown via Bembridge Down and Culver Cliffs allows walkers to enjoy some of the finest views on the Island. The village is also popular with sailors, having a small harbour lined with houseboats on one side and with a steady succession of yachts coming and going. The last remaining windmill on the Island can be found just outside Bembridge. The windmill, which dates from 1700 has undergone extensive restoration and is managed by the National Trust. The beautiful safe, sandy beach is ideal for families and watersports.
