
1. SARO CUTTY SARK - Four-seat touring and training amphibian, the SARO A.17 Cutty Sark was first flown July 4, 1929. Of 12 built, two, with 145 hp AS Genet Major IA engines, used by No 3 E & RFTS operated at Hamble by AST. Registered G-ACDP and G-AETI, they survived until early 1942.
