Welcome to the main menu from here you can choose from a selection of interesting and informative features.  

If you wish to find the out something about Island History click on the "Island History" tab.

If you wished to look for an event or something happening then click on "Events" tab

.If you wish to setup or examine your own briefcase then click on "My Eye" tab

Tourists needing local Island information should visit the "Tourism & Social" tab to the far right.

"Island History"  covers a vast range of time as the Island is rich in fossil beds and can be considered a microcosm of interesting events through the ages. In order to make things as easy as possible for our users we have created a simple select and display vehicle, allowing anyone to drill down very quickly into where, when and by who.  

"About My Eye" Adding the information for later recall, printing or sending to a friend just requires you to click on the "Actions" tab and this time select  "Add to My Eye" in any of our Island Eye Menu Options.   

Once you have registered the "My Eye" option allows you to save your favourites, send to a friend, search an ID, print out a list and look for as many plan options as you like.

"Editor's Wanted"   The task of adding historical data into the database is huge thus we welcome any help we can get, moderators are given instruction on how to check and enter data into the system, final checks on the data are then carried out by trained historians and added accordingly.

We welcome input form any subscriber as to anything that is record in the system, history is arbitrary and arguable so please do not worry if e seem to have an opposing view , let us hear yours and record it accordingly.
