The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that all employers determine if the fire safety measures in and around the workplace are adequate. This will require a fire risk assessment to be performed, and such an assessment must consider staff training in Fire Safety.
In order to minimise the risk of fire in the workplace, and provide the employees with the knowledge of what action to take in the event of a fire, all employees must receive some form of fire safety training.
