I would like to first thank some fabulously patient people namely Mike Parsons and Sergey Pantelei for their never ending programming assistance and ideas as well as Alex Khyrbu and George Lipceanu for the super graphics and the ‘look and feel’ of the site. Many thanks are due to Tim Brown, Anghelina Eschileva, Tonya Brown, Tony Morris, Matt Chubb, and Paul Jolly as well as those who represent the core of our project fulfillment. Numerous thanks are deserved by both the QA staff as well as a big thanks to all the others that I may have forgotten for both their valiant work on working with all of our ideas as well as their never ending patience when I came up with yet another “cunning plan”.

A project such as this presented considerable technical problems and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mike and Sergey, Peter and Rod and last, but by no means least, Dr A. J. M. Colson, our historian and liaison officer, who achieved wonders under great pressure towards the end of the project. We feel we are off to a good start. But this is only the beginning of a long and never ending quest and we will obviously be delighted to meet and work with anyone or any organisation, to develop and expand the living Island Eye experience.
